Lucas’ Daily Routine ❤️

Time management is really tough. Believe me! Juggling mine is already hard and it became harder when parenthood came. From late to later, daily schedule is like a worse nightmare. Thought came when Lucas’ former teacher adviser suggested to make a daily routine chart. I browsed and got the simplest from Pinterest.

I listed in this blog his daily(Mondays to Fridays) routine which was aligned to his school as of the moment. Plus, I included the list of materials that you need to make one and also attached photos which you can use as reference.

My son’s class starts at 11:45 in the morning. Good thing he wakes up early and eats breakfast so we could leave the house on time to avoid traffic.

Before I drop him to his classroom, he takes a light lunch in the car (while it’s parked near the school).

Materials you need:

  1. Scissors

  2. Paste

  3. Mighty bond

  4. Magnetic strips

  5. Card stock/ special board paper (e.g. Vellum paper)

  6. 1/4 illustration board

  7. Print out pictures (free printable below)

  8. Print out words (done & the daily routine schedule)

Instructions:

1. Fold the paper lengthwise into half.

2. Measure the half of the paper 3in.

Measure until the end of the paper.

3. Cut what you have measured all the way to the folded line to make a flap.

4. Cut the magnetic sheet 20cm X 40cm, 2pcs per flap. Then remove the white sheet on the magnetic strip.

Tip: After cutting, check if the 2 strips will stick together, sometimes it doesn’t work. I also put a bit of mighty bond (not sure if paste/ glue will work) on the sticky part before putting it on the paper.

5. Print out the pictures, the tasks and the word DONE. Cut and stick it on the paper.

6. After, stick the paper in the illustration board.

This is how it looks like. 🙂 You can also hook this on a wall.

When your kid is finished on a task, he can flip it up to show it’s done.
