Before Lucas was born, I thought of doing a special project but didn’t materialize. Now, that he’s growing up fast, I decided to push through and I’m very excited to do it!
Long time ago, I bought a record book from Rustans(ATC) wherein you can document his milestones from the day he was born until his education days in preschool. (You don’t really need to buy one. You can look for ideas in the net and make your own record book. I will try to look for one and share it with you, guys. 🙂)
Aside from the record book, I also bought a simple notebook that I made as a diary for him. Normally, having your own diary / journal means you don’t have to share your thoughts to anyone but yourself (for your eyes only).
My diary for Lucas is different. Each day, I will be sharing and teaching him everything that I know that will make him a better young man when he grows up. I want him to feel my emotions (being his mom since day one), to understand the decisions that I made and to feel how much I love him.
I also made a scrapbook whenever we travel. (We already traveled to two countries with Lucas so I will be creating a separate scrapbook for each) 😃
I also created an account in Google Photos (a cloud storage by Google) for him were I store all of our precious moments with him. I also have an external hard drive for back up just in case. 😊
These are some of the things I think of doing for him that I know he will cherish forever.
