It’s More Fun @ Kidzania

There is no question that Kidzania is a unique place where kids and adults with a young heart can really enjoy.

Allow me first to tell you all about Kidzania.

Kidzania is so much more than an amusement park. It is a place where kids can explore their interests, learn how the real world works and discover their future ambitions.

It is a realistic, role-playing place where they can find a job to work and earn kidZos (Kidzania money) or avail services that they need to spend. This kind of experience helps them to understand how to save and spend wisely on their kidZos.

The moment you enter Kidzania, you need to fall in line either to buy your tickets on that day and also for those who purchased their tickets online. (You can purchase your tickets on their website for a faster transaction)

For advance booking.

Ticket prices-for weekdays & weekends rate

Once you’re done, they will give you a wrist badge that will serve as your entrance ticket. They will also give you 30 kidZos cash, and 20 kidZos upon opening a savings account using the BPI Kidzania card they will give you. (for first-timers 😉)

Once done, they will lead you inside. You will know you’re there once you see the cloud-like ceiling. ☁️

We were told to pass by BPI first to open a savings account and deposit their kidZos cash. Only kids are permitted to go inside. (parents like I, can take a peek and take photos from outside 😉)

Lucas’ opening his new saving account.

The proud little boy to have his first-ever atm card. 😊

*TIP* Don’t forget to get a map, especially for first-timers so you could plan well on where to go. There’s one located beside BPI with the big tree. 😉

Kidzania Manila has over 100 role-playing activities available for kids ages 4- 17 years old and they are still growing! 😱

*TIP* +Z means to earn kidZos while -Z means to spend kidZos.

You could see in the map if the establishment is +Z/ -Z

Every establishment has this census plaque board that you need to check before falling in line. You need to check if your child is age-appropriate for the activity, how many kids can join and if your kid will earn or spend kidZos.

The actual look of the census plaque.

*TIP* Because the place is so huge, you and your kid should have a meeting place in case he gets lost or better yet, make him wear an emergency id, indicating his name, your name & cellnumber in case of emergency)

After going to BPI & watching the welcoming parade, the first place Lucas went was Penshoppe with his friends, just across BPI.

Their task was to choose what they want to wear in the fashion show (to be held at 2 pm). They practiced their poses and how they should walk on stage.

It was so fun watching them!

2nd stop was McDonald’s. (-Z)

He was so excited that he was the first in line!

They had a chance to make their very own cheeseburger!

First, they let them sit down and wait for their names to be called to give their passport and their bpi card. Then they let them fall in line to wash their hands.

They were given a hair cap and gloves for food safety as well. 😉

Afterward, they had a photoshoot with the cheeseburger they made. 📸

Lucas was so proud when he came out and said I made a cheeseburger for you mommy. 🥰

3rd stop was the St. Luke’s Medical Center – Emergency Room. (+Z)

While the kids listen intensively to the demonstrator on how to use the tools and medical devices, they were called one by one to have the opportunity to try it out.

(In the photo: Lucas was trying to find out on how to use the infrared thermometer 🌡)

Here comes the most exciting part! Riding in the ambulance! 🚑

While Lucas’ friends are in McDonald’s, we went to the PaZZport office and signed him up to become a citiZen of KidZania to enjoy more benefits and earn more kidZos.

Here are the steps on how to apply:

Here are the 3 types of paZZport:

This is the first PaZZport you will have once you signed up. – Naturalized CitiZen

Distunguished CitiZen = 30 stamps mean 4 Extra kidZos per activity!

Honorable CitiZen= 60 stamps mean 6 Extra kidZos per activity!

Upon completing either 30 or 60 stamps, you can go back to the PaZZport office and have your PaZZport upgraded to either Distinguished CitiZen or Honorable CitiZen for free.

The expiration of the PaZZport is until they reach 17 years old! So it means you can go back anytime, bringing your PaZZport and Kidzania BPI card.

These are his stamps.

The next stop was going back to Penshoppe for their modeling on stage. This time they will be modeling on stage in front of all the parents of the kids. 👏

Never been so proud of him seeing him for the first time to model!

Models showing of their best 3 poses ❤️

And it’s a wrap! 👏👏

5th stop was the Music Studio by Star Music (-Z)

Here in the Music Studio, They were given a choice to either sing or use musical instruments.

Even though Lucas loves to sing, he chose to play the instruments! 🎶 🥁🎹

6th stop was the fire station by Pioneer (-Z)

This is definitely a must-visit establishment that your kid cannot miss!!

Before the exciting part, they had some exercise routines and fire drills, which all the youngsters actively participated in.

Oh here comes the best part…

Time for a ride on the fire truck! 🚒

Lucas was duper excited and I was too excited for him! It was a dream come true for him to ride and become a firefighter for a day.

The experience made it so real when they also had to put out the fire in the ”burning hotel” using a fire hose.

On to his next destination.

And off they go running to the next establishment. (Wait for us!! 😅)

Our next stop… the Hotel (+Z)

While waiting in line, Lucas saw this place and had his picture taken! He would constantly tell me, mommy take my picture then he will say…. cheeeese 😁

With his two best friends ❤️

Picture taking while waiting for their names to be called.

It’s time to get to work!

This time they were the housekeepers of the hotel. 🙂 yey! Now, they know how to clean their rooms. Hopefully! 😅

Our next stop was the Supermarket by Healthy Options (+Z)

At first he wanted to try being a cashier, but the age appropriate for it is 6 years old and above. But I guess he really enjoyed doing the grocery by himself!

Our last stop 🛑 was the Aviation Academy by Cebu Pacific (-Z) [located on the 2nd floor]

He was so enthusiastic to become a pilot for a day, but unfortunately what they’re lacking is a flight attendant. 😞 But nevertheless, I believe he would still have a good time!

We just got to watch them on a screen monitor from the outside. Good thing the monitor was clear and I got to see what he was doing.

The instant they went down, he excitedly told me that they also went to the cockpit! He was full of astonishing stories that he got to press the buttons and that it was a real airplane! 😁

Kidzania is about to close but before we left, we passed by the Kidzania ATM machine to check the balance of his card. 🙂 This is located on the side of the BPI.

There are so much more we didn’t get to visit! Especially the establishments on the 2nd level.

Upon leaving, he told me to promise him that we’re going back on February 1 and on his birthday, which is on March 12. (I don’t know why he wanted to go back on Feb. 1 😅)

Below are some pointers to remember and to bring:

  1. Make sure to check their crowd calendar on their Facebook page before planning your visit.

  2. Book online for faster transaction. (if you purchase your tickets online, don’t forget to print your tickets.

  3. Make sure to arrive early in Kidzania to avoid long queue of line.

  4. Make sure your kids are wearing comfortable clothes (e.g. leggings, long pants/ jogging pants) and socks with rubber shoes.

  5. Bring an Id lace or a small pouch that they can carry around on their neck (easier for them to bring their Kidzania BPI card and PaZZport)

Because we didn’t bring pouch or id lace, we bought this in one of the kiosk inside Kidzania.

6. Bring real cash!!! I didn’t get to see any real atm machine inside. (Not sure where it is)

Recommended Stops:

  1. Get a KidZanian paZZport before anything else! For every establishment, you will have stamps and earn extra kidZos for every job well done (+Z) and less kidZos in availing a service (-Z).

  2. Get a degree at the University to earn mor kidZos depending on your job and the course you took. (+6 yrs old & above)

We really had so much fun in Kidzania and surely this won’t be the last time! (We still need to cellect more stamps for his PaZZport 😉)

Hopefully, we could visit again on his special day so we could avail their birthday treat discount (30% off) using his Kidzania CitiZen PaZZport! (Check out more of their citizen birthday treat on the website)

I hope you guys enjoy reading my blog!

Share your experience if you had been to Kidzania with your child already!

It could be in the Philippines or in another country. 😉
