Our trip to Sta. Elena Fun Farm

It was the second time for the family to visit a farm. This time, we went at Sta. Elena Fun Farm in Cabuyao, Laguna. Everyone was excited especially the little kiddo!

The place was an easy find…it took us around 40 minutes to get there from Alabang. We arrived around 9:30 in the morning and we were one of the firsts who had a glimpse of the animals and tried their fun facilities.

Their entrance fee was P400 inclusive of all the amenities like animal feeding (sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks and fishes), horseback ride (Ginger the horse), carabao-pulled-cart (Chocknut the carabao), boat paddling…

….AND the most exciting activity, the mini zipline!

Personal tips BEFORE going at the Fun Farm:

  1. Before you visit the farm, you need to call/ text to book a reservation. You can check it in their website for more details.

  2. If possible, visit the farm on a weekday. I hear there are a lot of people during weekends! You may not be able to enjoy the fun activities they offer.

  3. Be early as possible because there are some schools who conduct their field trip and it’s advantageous as it really gets very hot in the afternoon. They open at 9am and close at 4pm.

  4. Bring drinking water. Don’t worry about running out of thirst quenchers, they have refilling station in the main gazebo and some beverages at the reception area.

  5. Bring your own food since there’s no restaurant inside but you can also call up some like Jollibee for food delivery. You can have lunch in the main gazebo or eat your snacks in the nipa huts situated near the zipline.

  6. To protect you from the sun, don’t forget to wear your shades and cap. Also, apply sunblock! (Bring it as well. You will need to reapply.)

  7. Bring small towels and extra shirts. You might need these after an exhausting day. It’s better to be prepared than not.

To sum it up, my family and I had a really great time. Doing all the activities together especially the zipline, eating lunch together in the main gazebo and taking a lot of picture and videos. You can really tell just by looking and watching that it was indeed a momentous experience.

We’ll definitely come back and by that time we will be more ready than before! 🙂
